An attacker can disable the payload, or parts of it, leveraging TC switch on-off commands. In a mission with a direct link for the payload, the latter can be disabled compromising its command channel. [1]
This type of attack technique cannot be easily mitigated with preventive controls since it is based on the abuse of system features.
